We are seeking a Senior Reliability & Maintainability Engineer to help us leading our maintenance review board Team by developing and guiding the implementation of processes, tools and activities towards the Maintenance Review Board (MRB) and Maintenance Steering Group (MSG-3) for our new aircraft.
As an electric aircraft, this will entail new and novel approaches to system safety and reliability, in some cases requiring an innovative approach to the internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Heart engineering teams, Heart customer support teams, airlines and authorities). This will be a broad role covering all aircraft life cycle (i.e. development, initial operation, MRB revision, etc.) and full process definition and implementation.
Job Requirements:- Graduate degree in aerospace, aeronautical similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years experience within an aerospace OEM company environment, including the conceptual and preliminary design phase.
- Proven experience, minimum 5 years, on leading and coordinating MRB/MSG-3 activities between suppliers, operators, design engineering and authorities.
- Experience with aircraft development programs through the entire design, development & certification lifecycle (EASA/FAA Part 25).
- Experience with Maintenance Review Board process for aircraft type certification (i.e.: MSG-3) and product lifecycle (i.e.: IP-44).
- Experience on procurement and implementation of tools supporting the life cycle process.
- Experience working in an EASA Part 21J Design Organization, or international equivalent.
- Knowledge of safety and system safety engineering, within an approved design organization.
- Experience with functional hazard analyses, fault tree analyses, common cause analyses and particular risk analyses.
- Knowledge of systems & safety engineering principles for safety critical systems (SAE ARP 4754/4761).
- Direct experience with reliability & maintainability engineering, within an approved design organization.
- Development and application of MSG-3 training for MRB board member and team members.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
